Hot Commodity was launched to provide fresh, insightful financial news and analysis. In a world of endless churn and clickbait, the emphasis of the blog is on quality, not quantity.
Hot Commodity is aimed at investors, industry professionals and anyone with an interest in business and economics.
The name was chosen for a number of reasons. Firstly, because information is undoubtedly a hot commodity. Secondly, because it is a little tongue-in-cheek, fittingly for a blog that is aiming to inject a little fun into finance! And thirdly, as while the blog covers all areas of finance, there is a particular interest in the commodities space.
